The Lowland String Band are a Cambridgeshire-based six-piece playing traditional American old-time, bluegrass and Americana. With fiddle, mandolin, banjo, guitar, double bass and an additional vocalist, the band brings together driving fiddle tunes, traditional songs and close vocal harmonies.

Expect a lively evening of foot-tapping tunes, strong songs and plenty of acoustic energy, with music ranging from old-time and bluegrass favourites to songs by writers such as Gillian Welch and John Hiatt.
