The Lift Music Collective are a Histon-based ensemble (violin, cello, accordion, piano, percussion and tuned percussion) playing new arrangements of pop music from the 70s and 80s, re-imagined as soundtracks of magic and wonder. Their programme will include classics from U2, Talking Heads, Stranglers and more, and new arrangements of movie themes from down the ages: Cinema Paradiso and Amelie amongst them.
